The National Security Legislation announcement is fanning the flames of a hot summer
As Hong Kong slowly gets back to normal in a post Covid-19 world, the announcement of the National Security Legislation and National Anthem Bill have cased the people of Hong Kong to once again take the the streets.
The summer of 2019, fueled by now removed extradition bill.
People of Hong Kong took to the streets with what started as the opposition of the now removed extradition bill. Months of protests saw 2+ Million people take street. As the months ran on anti government protests intensified into the early months of 2020, before being cooled by the outbreak of Covid-19.
